I wanted to clean out my flowerbed to make room for daffodils. I had a whole bunch of iris that took over the entire bed. After I dug most of them up, my landlord wanted me to give them to her. Should she plant them now before winter comes, or can the bulbs stay dormant in the basement and get planted in the spring?
